POSITIVE BEHAVIOR INCENTIVES

BEHAVIOR CHART:  Move up and down the ladder based on hourly behavior.  Earn daily rewards.
ACCEPTABLE
BEHAVIOR
REWARDS:

Children who end their day on top
( Outstanding)
earn a trip to the " Treasure Box"
for a trinket to take home each day.

GOOD and GREAT behaviors can earn
a choice of a sticker or a stamp.

Children who EXCELL and
land themselves on the STAR
at the very top
will earn both rewards to take home!

This is an extremely SUCCESFUL behavior incentive reward system!
DAYCARE MASCOTS:

"Cuddles the Bears"
is a positive reward system~
One child from each class earns the opportunity to nap with one of the Cuddles Bears.
The decision is based on who was the
best friend of the day.
This is a huge honor and completely changed
the dynamics of our daycare tone of the day.
GOOD DEED REWARD SYSTEM:
As a teacher or fellow student notices a good deed, children earn a chance to put a " warm fuzzy" into their classroom jar.
When the jar is filled up, that class wins
a pizza or ice cream party!
CUBS of the WEEK:

Each week a child from each class is chosen to represent the daycare, due to teh best over-all weekly behavior, the week prior.

Cubs of the week are line leaders,
get to sit in the circle time teddy bear chair, help pass out drinks, chose the first song and story of  the day
and game of the afternoon.
We post their picture as the next week's
face book profile picture!
Homework Rewards:
( for the Honey Bears and Grizzlies only)

Weekly academic performance rewards.
As you turn in your homework earn rewards.
Plus a weekly Dance Party!
POTTY TRAINING REWARD SYSTEM:
" Jelly bellies"
are an instant gratification reward for early potty trainers.
Once they have mastered the skill,
and if a child is dry all day
they will earn the opportunity to check out a book from our library for the night.  Must be returned to continue to earn this reward. :)
At My Place, Just for Kids
we believe in building positive self-esteems through incentives for rewards and just feeling good about themeselves.

Other valuable rewards children receive for their accomplishments include positive verbal recognition,
being able to give a teacher the biggest and hardest high five they can,
earning a running" Victory Lap" in the yard,
receiving special " jobs" or responsibilities that represent they are a leader in our group.

All of the incentive rewards that we have experimented with or have implemented
have been a  huge hit with all ages of the children in our care,
and that makes mom and dad extra happy!

When a child is better behaved at school  they can concentrate on learning.
